Project: Gin Festival
Case Study: The Gin Festival is the original, biggest, and best gin event in the UK and the organisers commissioned a couple of prototype poseur tables and bars before going on to order 36 pieces of industrial style furniture in a four week time window.
As the items had to be transported and stored between venues, I sourced light weight, reclaimed pallet wood and small gauge scaffold to meet the brief and developed a unique folding mechanism and a steam punk finish, ideal for trade fair displays.
The workshop worked at full tilt to meet the deadline but everything was delivered ahead of shedule in time for the London Gin Festival - Cheers!
Industrial style optic display and folding table made from reclaimed pallet wood and scaffold.
Old, solid wooden pallets were stripped, cleaned, sanded and sealed to create the table tops.
Festival table design - Fold down display table for easy storage and transport. Great idea for outdoor festivals and events!
Stacked and ready to go to the Gin Festival - 20 tables and shelves awaiting collection from the Rat and Pallet workshop - ahead of schedule.
Great for conferences, trade fairs, festivals and events - collapsable, lightweight display units with a heavy industrial look.
Although the 12V LED display lighting looked awesome, it proved a little over budget. However, I'm sure one day this design gem will see the light of day.
